New satellite link in Yuzhno, Sakhalin Island.

Hermes Russian, Kazak and UK teams have commissioned a 1024Kbps satellite link for connecting our customer's office in Yuzhno, Sakhalin to Melbourne, Australia. With Hermes being the WAN provider for this worldwide company since 2006, Hermes has built over 30 sites on their network to date.  This new link to Yuzhno has provided users with improved response times on the circuit half way around the world.

In challenging circumstances the Hermes Russian and Kazak engineers achieved this by designing the full solution in fine detail before any work took place.  The design ensured Hermes accommodated all of the requests from the customers and installed it with minimum disruption to the customer.  On receipt of the customer approval the work was carried out by Hermes engineers and tested prior to handover which ensured a successful delivery and a satisfied customer.
